The Hot Box vaporizer is certainly a good-looking piece of equipment but it is a lot more than that. Small but powerful, this tabletop vaporizer is easy to take with you.   Although this is not exactly a portable vaporizer, you can take it to work, a friend’s house or somewhere else.

The great design of the Hot Box vaporizer includes its great usability.  The toughest part of using almost any vaporizer is putting aromatic plants in it, as well as cleaning it.  With the Hot Box Vaporizer you don’t actually need to put the aromatic substance in the box itself; meaning that it is much easier to use and there is much less to clean.  The wand that holds the aromatic mix is on the outside and hot air comes through the tube to the wand where it passes through the biomass and along a further tube to the user creating a safer and clean experience.

Other vaporizers are designed so the wand can be put in and taken out repeatedly. One can often spill the aromatic mix into the vaporizer which causes it to smell every time you vaporize.  This means that every now and again you have to clean your vaporizer thoroughly.

Cleaning a vaporizer has to be done with a damp cloth so that you don’t get any water into the unit.  If the unit hasn’t been cleaned for a while, you may need to scrub it down; this is difficult when there is barely any room to get your hands into the vaporizer. With the Hot Box vaporizer you can stick all of the parts that will ever need cleaning in a sink full of hot soapy water and soak them if needed.  This includes the aromatherapy attachment as well.  If you don’t want to simply sit and inhale vapors directly from the Hot Box vaporizer’s hose, aromatherapy is sometimes a better option.

With aromatherapy you can fill a whole room or your whole home with the scent of your chosen aromatic plant.  This option is great for getting rid of other smells.   Another benefit is that you can move around freely while still enjoying the benefits of aromatic plants. This is especially useful when you have a cold or flu and want to use something like Eucalyptus to help you decongest.  You can either simply allow the vapors to escape from the tubing to fill the room with the Hotbox vaporizer but a better option is to use the Aromatherapy dish accessory. The Dish is made of glass and can hold your choice of essential oils to be heated perfectly from the hot air blown out by the Hot Box vaporizer.

The Hot Box vaporizer releases a constant heat meaning that you don’t run the risk of burning your mix but this is also ideal for aromatherapy where oils may start to smoke if overheated as can occur when using candles.

Hot Box vaporizers all have these same benefits but they actually come in a variety of designs. Designs are either tile or stone made; this is what the box itself is made of. While some of the tile designs have great patterns on them, you may prefer the natural stone options.

The Hot box vaporizer doesn’t look quite how you would expect a vaporizer to look, it is square for a start and how to set it up and use it isn’t instantly obvious. You may well assume with something that breaks the mold to this extent that the shape is a gimmick and has no real value. With the Hot Box Vaporizer though you actually have a cleverly designed and packaged product.

With most herbal vaporizers you put your biomass into the vaporizer where it is heated: this has a few problems, one is that many designs tend to be fiddly but also it makes the vaporizer difficult to clean. The advantage of a small vaporizer like the Hot Box is partly its portability, you can easily move it between rooms to use it or even take it to your office or a friend’s home to use. The fact it can be moved means that it is also very useful for aromatherapy which it has a separate attachment for. You can easily find somewhere to put the small hot box vaporizer in a room such as your bedroom or your bathroom to enjoy while having a soak on the tub. The Hot Box then heats essential oils and gives off a constant amount of heat meaning you get a constant strength to the scent.

The constant temperature that the hot box vaporizer releases, which is possible because the materials are not heated directly, means that you don’t find that the level of vapors released varies or that materials over heat and potentially burn. As any experienced vaporizer user knows burning your materials is the last thing you want as it will ruin the flavor and is of course unhealthy.

The Hot Box Vaporizers come in two varieties, stone or tile made. The stone boxes are perhaps the most stunning using marble as the material the box is made of. The stone will of course stand up to heat and not let off harmful fumes when heated and the same for the tile versions. The tiled Hot Box Vaporizers come in a wide variety of designs some relatively plain others with flame decorations but all made to look sleek and sturdy.

As mentioned the Hot Box is easy to clean, the wand and rubber tube used as a mouthpiece can be washed easily but also easily replaced. The tubing can be replaced anywhere with standard food grade tubing and any length can be chosen meaning you can comfortably sit several feet away from the Hot box vaporizer still enjoying the vapors from it.
